Basic Finishing

The CBS Inc. Basic Finishing module provides introductory level training to develop the skills and expertise necessary to understand and design basic finishing system designs.

This classroom and lab-work program provides attendees with a sound understanding of atomization technology, circulation, filtration, regulation, safety, material characteristics and the industry nomenclature necessary to recognize customer requirements and present quality solutions.

Each course is customized to the individual needs and product line for our clients.

    Atomization
    Basic finishing technique
    Transfer efficiency
    Filtration
    HVLP, Air spray, Airless, Air Assisted and electrostatic technology

    Industry terms

DAY 1
Basic Finishing (Part 1)

DAY 2
Lab-work system start-up
Basic Finishing (Part 2)
(2) workshop questionnaires
(1) Mock system design assignment

DAY 3 (1/2 day)
Basic Finishing (Part 3)
(2) workshop questionnaires
Individual skill level testing
 

Module Length

The Basic Finishing module is conducted onsite in approximately 2 1/2 days dependent on the audience size and the level of participation.  Clients will often structure additional assessment testing of incumbent or new-hire employees.
 

Location

The Basic Fluid Handling module is conducted at your location within North America.  We request a classroom style environment free from business interruptions.
 

Audio/Visual Equipment

CBS will provide a compact disk copy of the customized training module and a laptop for CBS Consultant module presentation.  A laptop video projector can be provided at an additional charge of $225.00 per day.
 

Fees

Fees are assessed based on a 2 1/2 day session.  The fee for a Basic Fluid Handling training school is $2,400.00 with a minimum of 10 and a suggested maximum of 20 attendees.  Air travel and meeting expenses are additional.
